Call Me Crazy...

Okay guys, (girls/guys) I haven't been posting on here lately. Duh!
The reason is, I started another blog! Seriously. It's not that I didn't like this one, because I still am going to post things on here...probably. So don't give up on me. ;)

The blog that I have been spending my time working on is called: olliestails.blogspot.com
The actual title is Ollie's Twisted Tails.

That is all I am going to share. Go have a look! =)

As I Promised

here are some more photos. Actually, photos sound so proper....I might just start calling them pictures. ;)

The photo..picture above happens to be one of my favorites. It is totally unedited and I just love the natural feeling about it!

Now, here are a few misc. pictures that I really like. :)

The verse above is Jeremiah 29:11, which happens to be my favorite Bible verse.

And I saved my favorite for last. :)

I hope you enjoyed looking at a few more of my pictures! Do you have any tips for me?

Toddler Talk

I've noticed that people have started posting things that they have said to their children that sound just plain ridiculous. Well, I started to feel left out because I don't have any. But that's when I realized that the crazy things you say don't have to be directed towards your own children. For instance, I babysit...a lot and help in the nursery. Lately, I've started taking note to what I've been saying to the little guys (and girls...I'm southern...what can I say? ;)

Here are some things that I remember saying recently:
  • Sweetie, that fork isn't a hair brush...please get it out of your hair...
  • Hey, your underwear goes under your pants.
  • That little boy isn't a chair, please don't sit on him. No, he doesn't enjoy it.
  • Your shoes go on your feet. No, not your hands. Feet. No! Not your ears.
  • Please stop petting my ears...
  • Don't throw your toys please. No, I don't think your toys can fly. No, they don't have "thuper powerth" (super powers) like Super Man.

Do you have any stories like these?

If so, I would love to hear them! =)

My Photos

I'm officially a new blog addict. I haven't even had my blog for a full day and I'm on my second post! Well, in my last post I said something about if I ever figured out how to put pictures up. I did!

Here are some of my favorite photos that I have taken. I consider a couple of these photos my best work, while most I just really like.

Enjoy! :)

This smiley guy is my dog, Piper.

This is my photogenic kitty, Oliver.

Below my personal favorite flower photos.

These are all of the pictures that am going to put up today.

I'll be sure to put some more up soon!

Isaiah 55:12

"You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands."

~Emily :)

Well, this is my first post and I’m not really sure what to put! I spent a lot of time thinking about what I could write about and every topic I thought of just sounded corny. So I guess I should start out by telling you about myself. I love taking pictures and that is what I would like to do someday; be a photographer that is. I’ve played the violin off and on since I was three years old, and I sometimes I feel like I am running a zoo in my house with all of the animals! I’m obviously new to this (blogging), but I am going to try to figure out how to put photos on here! After I figure out how to upload photos, I am going to attempt (keyword: attempt) to start doing RAW(e) over on this really awesome blog called Sailor & Co.

Something you should know about me is that I am a Christian. I have been since I was seven years old. The title of my blog is based on Exodus 19:5-6, which reads, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.” This is the King James Version.

If no one but myself reads this blog, that is okay with me, but I wanted/needed a place to write down my thoughts and I am giving the blog-world a try! If you readers have any suggestions for future topics such as a Q&A, just let me know! :)
